About Me
I am a computer scientist and a bioinformatics researcher and I am currently looking for opportunities. My academic interests are in the development and application of computational and statistical methods for biodiversity science. My methods research centers around the design and implementation of probabilistic programming languages, around statistical modeling and Bayesian data science, and around combining semantic databases (i.e. knowledge graphs grounded in human intelligence) with machine learning to produce expert systems. I also love teaching and science communication.
In 2024 I wrote a research proposal outlining my research vision.
